Who Am I? - Bryce Chevallier
Most of you probably know me through my Twitter account (@FauxCentre), but my name is Bryce Chevallier. I’m currently the Manager of Sport Analytics at Vancouver Whitecaps FC, where I’ve spent the past few years working in soccer analytics - collaborating with coaches, executives, and scouts to break down matches and support performance through data.
Before that, I studied data science, specializing in computer science and statistics, at Western University, and worked in hockey analytics with Sportlogiq and the Kingston Frontenacs. I also spent time at Amazon Web Services, where I deepened my experience working with large-scale systems and infrastructure.
As a fan and analyst of both hockey and soccer, my approach is rooted in understanding the game as a series of repeatable patterns and tactical structures. My aim remains the same: to break down sport through a data-driven lens and uncover the architecture behind team strategy.
Feel free to get in touch via email or LinkedIn. My Twitter DMs are open too.
